The NPCC is once again looking for two young ladies to represent our centre at this year’s Fiesta Week celebrations! (June 15th to June 21)
The Northern Portugal Cultural Centre (NPCC) Board of Directors would like to ask any candidates that are interested in representing our club as Miss NPCC 2014 to please submit your name and contact information along with a written essay of why you would best represent our club as Miss NPCC 2014-2015.
Title: NPCC Children’s Christmas Party
Description: Please join us for our annual Christmas Party. There will be activities for the kids, dinner – pizza, chicken fingers, burgers, fries, salad, and cake. A visit from Santa and a movie to end the night. Prices are $12 for adults, $7 for the youth aged 13-17 and free for any child under 12. Doors open at 3pm for the activities and dinner is at 6 pm.

For those who are a wondering, “What exactly is Movember?” Here’s your answer…During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of millions of moustaches around the world. With their Mo’s men raise vital funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer and mental health.
We’re inviting all Mo Brothers and Mo Sisters to join us once again in our campaign to change the face of men’s health!
The Northern Portugal Cultural Centrre team has been set up and this Friday the members of LYTE will be on hand at our centre to sign up team members – everyone is encouraged to participate. If you can’t make it Friday but would still like to join our Team, do it!

Title: Festa do Sarrabulho
Description: Sarrabulho is an event which revolves around the magnificent folklore and delicious food of the Minho region of Portugal. In addition to our live folklore performances we will also be featuring DJ and concertina playing by Tony Silveira.
The doors will open 1pm and dinner will be served at 2pm. Due to the long schedule – food, ranchos, more food and dancing – we ask that everyone please show up on time.
