The NPCC is once again looking for two young ladies to represent our centre at this year’s Fiesta Week celebrations! (June 15th to June 21)
The Northern Portugal Cultural Centre (NPCC) Board of Directors would like to ask any candidates that are interested in representing our club as Miss NPCC 2014 to please submit your name and contact information along with a written essay of why you would best represent our club as Miss NPCC 2014-2015.
We are also asking for submission of names and contact information for the Mini Miss 2014-2015. Any parents interested in having their daughter represent the club, please submit their name and birthdate. Mini Miss selection will be by the draw of a name.
We ask that all submissions be received by no later than April 18th. Please be advised that candidates must meet the following criteria:
Miss NPCC
- Contestant must be 16 – 21 years of age and single
- Contestant must be a resident of Durham Region
- Must be available for Queens Ball on May 31 from 1pm to Midnight at LVIV Ukrainian Hall
- Must be Available for Fiesta Parade and Concert on June 15th
- Must be available for Fiesta Week (to tour pavilions) – June 16 – 21.
Mini Miss NPCC
- Contestant must between 5 – 7 years of age
- Contestant must be a resident of Durham Region
- Must be available for Queens Ball on May 31 at 7:30 (time subject to change)
- Must be Available for Fiesta Parade and Concert on June 15th
